Dimensional measurement system for large moving objects, optionally integrated with a dynamic weighing scale.
The APACHE Conveyor system allows the possible integration of data from both a scale and barcode scanners. The integrated PC can use additional software to flexibly adapt to different interfaces.
Measuring principle
The measurement is carried out using two fixed, high-mounted infrared scanners. This system measures the volume of the object as it passes through the scanning area, generating a continuous 3D surface. With the help of this, the software determines important object characteristics such as length, width and height.
