APACHE PORTAL DUAL ZONE is a certified dimensional measurement system for large objects integrated with two static weighing platforms to increase production capacity.

The solution for:

• Load measurement of almost any size and shape in two separate and independent measuring zones to increase production.
• The measuring zone can be individually extended.
• The two measuring zones can be combined to measure long objects.
• A weighing platform can be optionally integrated for each measuring zone – even in combination, both platforms can weigh large objects.
• Electronic measurement and weighing of the load.
• The scanning of two laser heads driven by a motorised arm enables the detection of the object in the corresponding measuring area. An optional camera is available for photo representation.
• All measurement data is legally relevant due to conformity assessment and can therefore be used for commercial transactions.
• Underdeclared load detection enables a quick return on investment.

Features and Software:
The system is approved according to MID009 and OIML R:129 including an “Alibi Storage” data storage system and the possible integration of data from both the scale and barcode readers. The integrated PC can use additional software to flexibly adapt to different interfaces.

Operation:
The object is positioned below the free measuring zone and the measurement is started either by scanning a barcode or manually.
While the measurement of one object is taking place, the next object can be positioned in the second measuring area.
The transfer of the acquired data (length, width, height, weight and image) is automatically sent to the user database through a defined interface.
