Barcode, 2D code and OCR identification
The DWS system identifies all relevant information and codes on up to six product sides quickly and with a very high read rate. This includes both handwritten and printed address information, as well as barcodes, 2D codes and customer-specific codes. The system can recognise characters and codes even under transparent, corrugated and reflective plastics. It is also capable of storing images and associated data.
Volume and weight measurement
The volume and weight of the object analysed enables automatic billing, shortening the return on investment time. In addition, the data generated is the basis for optimising logistics and loading processes.
